Super Supper Six

What is Super Supper Six?
Super Supper Six is a unique opportunity for individuals, couples and families to meet for a meal and a time of fellowship once a month for a 3 - month period. We will then rotate the groups for those who wish to continue. It is a fun way to get to know each other better and pray for one another in our CCCC family.

How does it work?
Two individuals or a couple will host the meal (either in their home, a park or wherever they decide!) providing the main dish and the other participants will bring the sides/dessert. So, each “group” (two individuals or couple) takes a turn once a month to host the meal and then the others provide the sides. Sign up sheets are available on the Welcome Table or sign up here. We will begin our first “Super Supper Six” in March.

AFTERMATH Service Project

On Saturday, February 11, students have the opportunity to serve lunch at Clearwater Homeless Emergency Project. This is a great chance to share the love of Jesus in a very practical way by serving those in need.

We will meet at Church at 10:30 am to head to HEP where we will be serving lunch from 11:30 am to 1 pm. Signup is required--you can sign up at youth group or by email. Parent chaperones are welcome to join us.

Each person attending this event must view the HEP virtual tour and the Volunteer Orientation presentation. A Volunteer Application along with a Confidentiality Agreement must also be completed and turned in for each person attending.

Missions Banquet

Look carefully then how you walk, not as unwise but as wise,
making the best use of the time, because the days are evil.
Ephesians 5:15-16

Making the best use of the time--this is the theme of this year’s Missions Banquet. Don’t miss this time of food, fellowship and testimony of how God is moving in the world today! We have a great line up of our missionaries joining us so signup in the Church entryway today. Banquet will be held on Sunday, February 12 at 5 pm.

reNEW Annual Celebration

On Sunday, February 26 following the Worship Service, we will gather together to celebrate what God has done in and through Crystal Cove Community Church this past year. He has been and remains the Faithful God who calls His people into dynamic relationship with Himself. We rejoice in this call and want to remember in worship and renew ourselves in commitment to His call for Crystal Cove in the coming year and beyond.

We will meet in the Multi-purpose Room immediately following the Worship Service on Sunday, February 26. Lunch will be provided.

The Journey: OT

How does the Old Testament relate to Jesus' teachings and the New Testament? Can the Old Testament even speak into my life today? The Old Testament is so, well, old. Why should we make the effort to read and understand it in today's very different culture?

These are just a few of the questions we hope to answer in our new Growth Connection study, The Journey: OT. Join us on Sunday, February 19 at 9 am in the Multi-purpose Room as we begin this excursion into a deeper appreciation and understanding of God's word. Not only will we gain a new perspective on the Old Testament, we will also grow in our understanding of the whole Bible and the life of Christ as we see how the Old Testament informs the New Testament.
